Riverdale Review: How long have you been on the Riverdale Review?

Shivan Lakhanpal: Since ninth grade, the end of ninth grade, when staff positions opened up.

RR: What was your position on the Riverdale Review?

SL: I joined as a Photography editor with Bowden, but then they needed a graphic for something and I made it and became a Graphics editor.

RR: What has been your favorite part of being on the Riverdale Review? 

SL: Probably the community, I met a lot of people in different grades from all the way when I was a freshman to now being a senior. I get to talk to people about their interests that I otherwise wouldn’t have know much about. You just realize how passionate and well-spoken people are about things, it’s all great fun. 

RR: Do you have a highlight or funny story from your time on the Review? 

SL: A highlight was probably working with Mr. Kingsley, Profe Almira, and Mr. Mihok. They’ve all been a highlight for me.
