Zane Curtis-Olsen - Middle and Upper School History

Riverdale Review: “Where did you work previously?”

Zane Curtis-Olsen: “I was a teacher for seven years at Bard High School Early College in Long Island City, Queens.”

RR: “What is your favorite thing about the fall?”

ZCO: “Halloween. My birthday is right around there, so it’s two things to look forward to. I have friends who go all out for Halloween and friends who are already celebrating. I know people who treat it like a month-long holiday so I really enjoy the way people go all out for Halloween. So, I really like the way people in New York get into it and celebrate the holiday.”

RR: “Do you have any hobbies, interests, or talents you’d like to share with the Riverdale community?”

ZCO: “I’m a big history nerd and love to do a lot of history stuff outside of teaching. And then, I really love music, art, and going out to see live shows and art exhibits.”
