Riverdale Review: What is your role in the Riverdale community?

Sue On: I am the middle and upper school orchestra conductor.

RR: Where did you work previously?

SO: So I still work at all the other youth orchestras and I conduct throughout the tristate area. But I didn’t leave a school to come here necessarily. I’ve just kind of been a freelance conductor.

RR: What are your hopes for this school year?

SO: Great question! I’m excited to do a harder and more exciting repertoire to bring the orchestra to the next level.

RR: Do you have any hobbies, interests, or talents you want to share with the Riverdale community besides music?

SO: I do competitive jigsaw puzzling. A little nerdy, but I absolutely love it. I enjoy going on adventures. I also do a lot of humanitarian work throughout the world in music education.
