New Faculty: Naomi Greene - Upper School Science Teacher

Riverdale Review: What’s your role in the Riverdale community?

Naomi Greene: I’m an upper school science teacher. I’m teaching Integrated I and II.

RR: What are your hopes for this school year?

NG: I’m hoping to get a good sense of how Integrated I and II work together so we can build up the program and teach the kids the skills they need for future science courses.

RR: Is there a memorable experience you’ve had since coming to Riverdale?

NG: During our new faculty orientation Mr. Andrew Bension had us cook our own lunch. On our very first day here we went to the freight farm and picked the greens, and then we went to the multipurpose room and he had us make our own lunch. That was really cool.

RR: Do you have any hobbies, interests, or talents you’d like to share?

NG: I used to be a competitive ballroom dancer, and I really like knitting.
